There is an
increasing trend for people to live alone. What is causing this to happen? Will
it have a negative or a positive impact on the society?
Nowadays,
many people are spending their life by settling alone. There are numerous
reasons for this, this trend of living alone can have positive as well as
negative influence on the society. In this essay, I will examine causes as well
as pros and cons of this issue.
Majority of people are in favor of living alone, due to
number of reasons. Firstly, nowadays, there are lot of financial issues due to
which everyone prefers to live their life independently. Furthermore, most of
people are very much busy in their work, therefore, they want relaxation at
home and do rest without any noise, which is not possible to achieve when
living with more family members. The other rising issue is, every human has its
own nature and different lifestyle due to which conflict can arise in house.
As far as positives and negatives are concerned, on the
positive side, society can become free from crimes, hunger, poverty etc. As
everyone will spend money according to their will. Along with this, all of
people would feel responsibility and perform their work sincerely, as they
know, no one will earn for them.
Apart from this, on the negative side, people cannot share
their good times and bad times with their loving ones. For suppose, If a person
is living alone, and he fell ill, then he can suffer more as no one is close to
him. In addition, isolation can be created between siblings, by living apart.
Another factor is, if everyone will live alone, then accommodation would be
less for other families in the crowded cities.
To sum up, I tend to believe that, people can live alone if
they do not feel comfortable, but they should in affection with their loved
ones, which can be beneficial for the individuals as well as for society.
